    I don't know, but it sure looks old don't it? There was a lot of these in the desert.

    I've seen these trees in CO. In some places you can pick up deadwood legally. Someone made me a lamp out of it.

      I sure thought about doing that myself, but it's probably illegal on National Park property. These trees are really beautiful.
